For my first enrichment event I had gone to the banned books seminar. During this seminar I had found out that most of the books that have been banned are actually cause of parents that are very  ignorant and due to their action cause to deprive  information away from other children. During this seminar one speaker named Molly who is on the battle field and facing angry parents day by day, she said she has stickers on some of the books requested by some of the students in her school to serve as a advisory.  I think that is a great idea and therefore parents should let their parents know what they would like for them to read. Molly had said that most of these students tell her about how they hide books from their parents these parents report these books and they get banned but their children have access and under privileged kids don’t. Another thing I had realized is that most of the books banned are usually on the same theme. I learned that are no age limits to help books to not be banned just show up to school conferences and speak about how books are being banned and having knowledge being with held from us.
